DR. DEBBIE WHITTINGTON, ND

Dr. Debbie Leslie, ND

Dr. Whittington brings a distinctive, personal approach to her patients to customize a natural, treatment plan for each individual.  Dr. Whittington practices general family medicine with a focus on healthy aging, naturopathic dermatology and digestive health.  Also, Dr. Whittington encourages those with acute or no serious complaints, including children, to come in for a visit to learn how to lay the foundation for lifelong great health.  Dr. Whittington's main modalities include therapeutic nutrition, hormone therapy, CranioSacral therapy, Intense Pulse Light therapy, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and counseling.  She is a Bastyr University graduate and has trained with both medical doctors and naturopathic physicians.

Dr. Whittington has recently added Intense Pulse Light Therapy (IPL) to treat skin conditions that may not always be easy to treat. Dr. Whittington works with patients to determine food sensitivities, toxin overload, hormone imbalances and immune system dysfunction that can contribute to unwanted skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, rosacea, sun damage (sun spots or brown spots) and unwanted hair growth. Additionally, Dr. Whittington has found that by using the most advanced technology in light therapy such as the IPL, patients feel (and look!) better faster and for longer!

Dr. Whittington received a Venture Grant Award for her medical work with the Samburu tribe in Kenya and Honors in Counseling from Bastyr.  She is a member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians and a volunteer and member of The Alternative Healthcare Access Campaign for the homeless in Seattle. She also volunteers for Pasado Safe Haven, an animal rescue organization www.pasadosafehaven.org.
